This summer, Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce (MBCC) will be launching the long awaited 10,000 Black Business Program (10K BBP). 10K BBP is being created as a transformative business accelerator designed to empower and support Black-owned small businesses in Minnesota and we’re seeking information from Black owned small businesses and entrepreneurs that will assist us in creating a program that effectively addresses the current challenges and priorities of Black business in Minnesota. Results from this survey will help shape the design of 10K BBP and future MBCC programming. We are seeking information in the following four areas:
1. Business Overview (current state of business)
2. Pain Points & Challenges (What are the areas of your business that need improvement?)
3. Goals & Vision (What do you consider success for your business?)
4. Training & Support Needs (What are the areas that you would like training and/or support in?)
How To Submit Feedback
We encourage you to contribute to this effort by completing the RFI found here no later than May 16. Your input is essential in shaping a program that truly meets the needs of our Black business community. To say thank you for time, those who complete the RFI by the deadline will be entered into a drawing to win your choice of two tickets to the annual MBCC Golf Classic on June 2, two tickets to the annual MBCC Gala on August 2, or one roundtrip Southwest Airlines ticket.
The Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce is committed to serving Black-owned businesses and their communities through access to education, advocacy and economic development.
